Xpress Scan Double Wall RTDR

Xpress Scan Double Wall RTDR System, produced by 3E NDT (USA), is a system especially used in real-time digital radiography of pipelines. The system is mounted on a circle placed in the pipe, rotates around the gasket with the motorized system on it and takes the radiographic image of the weld digitally.

In cases where the crawler cannot be placed inside the pipe, X-Ray tube can be placed outside the pipe and Xpress Scan turns the motorized simultaneously outside the pipe and transmits the images it receives wirelessly to the computer system. The system can work for 10 hours with batteries without a mains connection in the 12-56” diameter range. It has IP67 water and dust protection level and can operate in the range of -40 °C +45 °C. The complete image of a 56” pipe weld can be taken in 16 minutes. It has class B image quality according to ISO 19232-5, ISO 10893-7, ISO 17636-2 standards.

It does not require consumables such as film, bath chemicals, image plates; No extra treatment is required, such as film bathing or screening.
