Transducer Modules (TRM)
The transducers are connected to the Dolphicam2 and Dolphicam2+ Black Boxes via a standard USB C cable. This cable provides power, control signals, and data transmission. The unique 128x128 "crossed electrodes" transducer uses PVDF - Polymer Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) Film to generate 16,384 individual ultrasonic echoes ("A-scans") over the 32x32 mm transducer area. This feature enables the detection of very small defects.
In addition, it provides control in various thickness ranges with modules specifically designed for different frequency ranges:
- TRM 0.7 MHz
- TRM 1.5 MHz
- TRM 2.5 MHz
- TRM 3.5 MHz
- TRM 5 MHz
- TRM 8 MHz
- TRM 10 MHz
These transducer modules are designed to meet your inspection needs.
Furthermore, MxTTU is the only portable and practical device in the world that can offer the conclusiveness of C-scans and simplified MxTTU evaluation. By using the core product range of Dolphicam2 or Dolphicam2+ with the MxTTU system, it provides users with a larger viewing area without compromising resolution or evaluation speed.
