In our country, XRF spectrometers have found a very wide range of applications and usage areas in the fields of archaeometry, museums, restoration and conservation in the last 15 years. Troy-Met has been the pioneer company in the sector in the spread of these applications in our country. Some of these applications with a very wide field of work are pigment analysis, source analysis where the period or region of the artifact is investigated, fingerprint analysis that allows the detection of different parts of a whole or fake artifacts, detection of chlorine salts or conservation materials, chemical analysis of manuscripts, tiles, stone, ceramic or metal artifacts. Vanta Max or Vanta Element for some specific applications are the preferred models for these applications.

Although 50 kV devices are generally used due to the variety of applications, 40 kV models can also be used in cases such as underwater archaeology or some special applications where only metal objects need to be analyzed. In addition to many different accessories that facilitate laboratory work, collimators that allow measurements up to 3 mm in diameter can be used, especially when very small points need to be analyzed. The superior reporting and archiving features of the devices also provide an advantage over their competitors. Please contact our sales engineers for our application-specific solutions.
